Women's tennis hosted #2 in the ODAC, Bridgewater College resulting in a 5-3 loss Tuesday afternoon. The Maroons moved to 8-4 on the season, 6-3 in the ODAC, placing them 5th in conference. The Bridgewater Eagles climb to #2 in ODAC standings, with an impressive 14-2 record on the season.

Laura Dodson (Roanoke, VA, Cave Spring)defeated Katie Gordon with a final match score of 6-3, 7-5.
Corbin Leitch (Richmond, VA, Steward School)(#2 singles), also on a four match winning streak, claimed a win against Bridgewater's Katy Bergey with a result of 6-3, 7-5. In the #4 slot,
Nagy, Kristin (Torrance, CA, Torrance High School) also picked up another win for the Maroons, after shutting down Amanda Gorby 1-6, 2-6.
In doubles competition, Bridgewater ousted Roanoke by taking all three matches.
The women will host Sweet Briar College Wednesday the 13th at 4:00 p.m.The matches will take place at the Roanoke Tennis Courts, located on the Elizabeth Campus.
