HARRISONBURG, Va. --- Roanoke cruised to a 3-0 ODAC victory at Eastern Mennonite on Friday evening. The Maroons improved to 21-5, 7-2 in the ODAC, while the Royals dropped to 3-19, 0-9 in conference play.

The Maroons won with scores of 25-20, 25-21 and 25-19. The women won their ninth-straight match against the Royals. The 21 wins are the third-most in a single-season for the volleyball program.

Nicci Moats (Blue Ridge, VA, Lord Botetourt) was a terror for the Royals tonight, as she finished with 12 kills and six blocks. Maggie Wagner (Roanoke, VA, Cave Spring) and Kelsey Largen (Roanoke, VA, Cave Spring) each totaled eight kills each and 14 and 11 digs, respectively.

Emily Martin (Daleville, VA, Lord Botetourt) led Roanoke with 15 kills, while Shannon Stone (Williamsburg, VA, Lafayette) paced the Maroons with 18 assists and eight digs. Bren Wilberger (Richmond, VA, Steward ) added 14 assists.

The women return to action on Thursday, Oct. 28 as they travel across state to play against ODAC-foe, Virginia Wesleyan. The match is scheduled for a 6:30 p.m. start.
