SALEM, Va. --- Roanoke swept Mary Baldwin, 3-0 at the Bast Center in non-conference volleyball action Thursday evening. With the win, the Maroons improved to 12-12 on the season while the Fighting Squirrels drop to 4-21 on the season.

The Maroons won with scores of 25-12, 25-14 and 25-22 to get back to .500 on the season. Roanoke is now 25-0 against Mary Baldwin all-time.

Before the match, head coach Blair Trail was recognized for her 200^th career victory as athletic director Scott Allison presented her with a plaque for her milestone. She is the second active ODAC coach along with Bryan Snyder at Washington & Lee to eclipse over 200 career wins.

Maggie Wagner (Roanoke, VA, Cave Spring)finished with eight kills, nine digs, three block assists and two aces to lead Roanoke. She passed Blair Calvert Trail '99 for 10^th on the all-time kills list at Roanoke with 518 for her career. Emily Martin (Daleville, VA, Lord Botetourt)added 10 digs for the Maroons. She needs six more to move into fourth all-time at Roanoke in career digs.

Rachel Hawkins (Winchester, VA, Millbrook)and Kelsey Largen (Roanoke, VA, Cave Spring)each had six kills for the Maroons. Lynsey Ferris (Roanoke, VA, Northside)finished with five solo blocks to move her up to 11^th on the all-time list with 78. Caitlyn Long (Roanoke, VA, Cave Spring)totaled 17 assists and 10 digs in the win as she moved past Kelly Valoris '02 for fifth on the career assists list with 1,097. She moved past Guilford's Jennifer Pue-Gilchrist '03 for sixth in ODAC history in career digs with 1,571. She needs 15 more to pass Lynchburg great Corri Pfister '05 four fifth on that list.

The women travel to Lexington, Va. this Saturday as they play both Christopher Newport and Washington & Lee in a tri-match. They play the Captains at 1 p.m. followed by the Generals at 3 p.m.
