Salem, Va. --- The Roanoke College volleyball team defeated Randolph, 3-0 in ODAC competition on Tuesday evening. The Maroons improved to 13-2, 3-2 in the ODAC while the Wildcats dropped to 5-16, 0-6 in the ODAC.

The Maroons won with scores of 25-7, 25-22 and 25-16 to win the match. The 13-2 start is the best in school history. The Maroons now own a 22-3 series advantage.

Lynsey Ferris had an outstanding match, finishing with a career-best four block solos along with seven kills to pace Roanoke. Maggie Wagner led the Maroons with 11 kills in and two blocks. Kate Feldman led Roanoke with 20 assists.

Kelsey Largen had five kills and five digs. Caitlyn Long finished with seven digs and 10 assists in the win. Rachel Hawkins had two aces and two kills in her contribution to the Maroons third ODAC win of the season.

The women will travel to Virginia Beach, Va. to take on Virginia Wesleyan at 3 p.m. and North Greenville at 5 p.m. in a tri-match. The Maroons are 5-2 all-time vs. the Marlins since 2002 but VWC have split the last four matches with Roanoke winning in five sets.
