Ashland, VA – The field hockey team fell to Randolph-Macon, 5-0 to end the regular season on Saturday afternoon. The Maroons dropped to 3-10 overall and a 2-5 mark in the ODAC. The Yellow Jackets improved to 6-8; 4-3 in the ODAC.
Randolph-Macon would score three first half goals in the first half to seal the victory. The Maroons were outshot, 38-5, including 22-4 on penalty corners.
Lindsay Paz finished the afternoon with 27 saves. She would move into third all-time for saves in a single season with 164. Paz now has 686 saves for her career.
The women will play on Saturday, Oct. 27 in the first round of the ODAC Tournament.
