FREDERICKSBURG, VA--The Maroons played Mary Washington College, the nation's ninth-ranked team, to a 1-1 draw in the opening 35 minutes, but yielded three second half goals and lost 4-1 in Fredericksburg. The Maroons fall to 5-2 following the loss, while the Eagles improve to 7-1.
With 22:11 left in the first half, the Eagles got on the board, but the Maroons responded with a goal off of a penalty corner with 17:20 to go.

The Eagles got the game-clinching goal just about two minutes into the second half and proceeded to score two more goal before time ran out on the scoreboard.
