Tenbusch enters his first season with the Maroons as a coach in 2025.

Tenbusch joins the staff after serving as the Assistant Athletic Director at Bruton High School in Williamsburg, Va. While at Bruton, he was also the assistant coach for the boys' soccer team that made back-to-back VHSL state final four appearances in 2024 and 2025. Tenbusch also coached at the club soccer level for Virginia Reign. 

The Williamsburg, Va. native had an extensive playing career as a defender, including stops at Mount Ida College, Roanoke, and Johnson & Wales University in Providence. Tenbusch started his college career at Mount Ida in 2017, where he played 17 games. After Mount Ida College closed, Tenbusch transferred to Curry College before his time there was cut short by injury. Tenbusch then rounded out his undergraduate career at Roanoke, where he played on the 2019 NCAA tournament team and in the shortened 2020 COVID season. After graduating with a degree in Sports Management, Tenbusch made his way to Providence, R.I. for two graduate years at Johnson & Wales. While with the Wildcats, he earned Great Northeast Athelteic Conference (GNAC) Second Team honors and helped them to an appearance in the conference championship game. Tenbusch made 21 appearances and 19 starts on the Johnson & Wales defensive line.
