Biography
2008-09: Fender only competed in the season-opening meet in the Marlin Invitational, leading the Maroons with a time of 28:10, taking 2nd place...He was sidelined the rest of the season due to injury.
2007-08: Finished among the Maroons top four at every meet...Led the squad with a personal best of 27:09 for 8000 at the Salisbury University Tidewater Classic.
Personal: Doug is a Political Science major at Roanoke College. Doug is a distinguished member of the admissions staff at Roanoke College and gives tours of the campus on a regular basis. Doug is a strong contributor to running in Virginia having helped at various running camps throughout the state. Upon graduation Doug is planning on attending graduate school.
