Keith Doolan was announced as the new head Athletic Trainer at Roanoke College in the Fall 2023.
Doolan most recently served from 2021 to 2023 as a Sports Medicine Program Manger with the St. Luke's University Health network in Ashland, Pa. Prior to his move to Pennsylvania, Doolan was the Head Athletic Trainer for Salem City Schools here in VA from 2018 to 2019. He oversaw the treatment of hundreds of athletes, several which are now attending Roanoke College.
From 2000 until 2018, Doolan was an assistant athletic trainer with Virginia Tech working with football, men's basketball as well as overseeing other sports. He began in Blacksburg after completing his master's degree in health promotion with VT in 2000.
A Roanoke native and Cave Spring graduate, Doolan earned his bachelor's degree in physical education with an athletic training concentration in 1999.
