Biography

2011: named ODAC Scholar-Athlete of the Year... ODAC Runner of the Year... First-Team All-ODAC honors... NCAA Div. III National Championship qualifier... named to ODAC/StellarOne Sportsmanship Team... first Roanoke runner to earn a runner-up finish at the NCAA Div. III South/Southeast Regional Meet... won the ODAC Championship meet... named ODAC Runner of the Week four times, most ever by a RC runner in a single-season... won three-straight meets during the regular season... team captain... placed 38th at national championship meet, three spots shy of earning All-American honors.


Prior to Roanoke: a standout performer at Cave Spring HS, Smith won All State honors in Cross Country and Track & Field in 2008... he competed at the University of Richmond and transferred to Roanoke for the fall of 2010... will have an immediate impact on the team and the conference.
