2024: Raced in three meets...Posted a season best time of 28:52.7 in the 8k at both the Roanoke XC Invitational (Oct. 19) and the ODAC Cross Country Championships (Nov. 2). 

2023: Participated in Roanoke's Rooney Invitational (9/3), finishing in 18:06.4 to place 21st … also had the best 8K time of his sophomore season at the NCAA South Region Championships (11/11), finishing 109th in 28:24.7.

High School: 2022 graduate of Radford H.S. in Radford … earned all-state honors in cross country and both indoor and outdoor track and field … also won a team state championship in outdoor track and field … John Giesen Altruism Award winner

Personal: Son of Stephen and Laura Bishop … has one sister (Juliana) and one brother (Logan) … majoring in health and exercise science … favorite TV show is The Office … favorite movie is Jurassic Park … favorite professional sports team is the Philadelphia Eagles … favorite sports figure is Joe Klecker … greatest personal sports moment was helping his team win a state championship after having to take months off due to injury

Why Roanoke: “I chose Roanoke because it just felt right, and the team was so much fun to be a part of. I had come here previously while in high school to run track meets, and I always enjoyed being on the campus and spending time at Roanoke.”
