The short story: The Roanoke College wrestling team earned its fourth-straight Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) title Saturday with a 45-0 victory over Averett University.

The Maroons, ranked No. 1 in the nation, end the regular season unbeaten with a 15-0 record, 5-0 in the conference. RC recorded five shutouts this year.  

How it happened:
*Two Maroons posted pins on the afternoon: Hunter Moore (4:11 at 184) and Lorenzo Pellot-Vázquez (3:51 at 197).
*Jude Robson at 133 pounds was one of four RC wrestlers to pick up a technical fall victory, joined by Mark Samuel at 141, Taylor Smith at 149 and Cade Parent at 165.
*Kyle Lee won by major decision at 174 and Casey Smith was a decision winner at 157, as was Cam Cavins at 285.
*Mac Cafurello opened the dual with a hard-fought 4-1 win in the sudden victory period.

Up Next:
*The ODAC Tournament, which decides the champions of individual weight classes, is set for next Saturday (Feb. 14) at Shenandoah University.
