The Short story: The seventh-ranked Roanoke College wrestling team recorded the first sweep in program history Thursday night, shutting out Southern Virginia University 47-0 in an Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) match.

How it happened:  
*The Maroons had six technical falls on the night, one pin and two major decisions in the 10 matches.
*Isiac Paulino (125), Jonah Paulino (133) and Jake Yowell (141) got the dual started with three-straight technical falls.
*Dustin Smith had a major decision victory at 149, followed by another technical fall from Andrew McDougal at 157 to put RC ahead 24-0.
*Andru Boyd won at 165 via tech fall, Kyle Lee had a major decision at 174 and Vincenzo Corvetto had the night's only pin at 184 in 2:24.
*Hunter Moore won 17-2 in 4:25 by technical fall at 197 and Nicholas Cook closed out the evening with an 11-4 decision.
