FOREST, Va. – Roanoke College sophomore Vincenzo Corvetto earned the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Heavier Weight Wrestler of the week award for the week of February 10.

Corvetto went 2-0 last week at 184 pounds in ODAC competition as the Maroons clinched their third-straight conference title. He earned extra points in each win with one pin and one technical fall. Corvetto pinned Hank Svedin from Southern Virginia in just 2:24 on Thursday and followed up with a 19-3 technical fall in 5:56 against Noah Harris from Averett Saturday.

It is Corvetto's second ODAC Wrestler of the Week award, having also taken home the honors on December 23. 

The Maroons (15-2/7-0 ODAC) will compete Saturday at the ODAC Championships, hosted by Washington & Lee University. Individual champions will be crowned at this event.
