The Short story: The Roanoke College wrestling team opened the home portion of its 2024-25 season Thursday evening with a 40-10 victory over visiting Shenandoah University in an Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) match.
The program's 18 seniors were honored during the match on Senior Night.

Corey Messick won 9-2 at 149 and
Jarrod Pominville won 12-6 at 157 to give Roanoke an 18-4 lead.

*After an SU forfeit at 197,
Brady Elswick needed just 26 seconds to record a pin at 285 pounds and end the match.
*Sean Rinebolt and Bryan Mpengo were winners for Shenandoah.
