SALEM, Va. – The Roanoke College wrestling team announced its 2024-25 schedule Wednesday, as the Maroons look to defend their Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) title and rise even higher in the regional and national rankings.

The season begins at home with the Southeast Open on Saturday, Nov. 2 in the Cregger Center. The ODAC slate opens early on Nov. 16 at Washington & Lee University and the Maroons have an invitational and non-conference dual schedule that includes trips to Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Tennessee and Illinois.

"Every year has a different feel," said head coach Nate Yetzer. "We, as a staff, feel like this could be a special year. One thing that I believe helped us turn a corner last season was the fact that every week our guys were pushed with great competition and team building events. This year, we are raising the bar once again and this will be our toughest schedule ever. Not only do we get to see the best teams in the country but also we get to travel to different parts of the country to give our guys a great experience. I'm excited for this season and this group of guys."

Roanoke hosts Shenandoah University Jan. 16 for Senior Night and for the second-straight year will host the Match at the Mill Mountain Theatre on Jan. 19 against Ferrum College.

The NCAA Regionals will take place Feb. 28-March 1 and the NCAA Championships are scheduled for March 14-15 in Providence.
