HOW IT HAPPENED
- Randolph took a 3-0 lead by winning all three doubles matches. Each contest wound up with an 8-5 final: Jacob Martin and Ondra Pelda over Zach Kriebel and Federico Maccari at No. 1, Andreas Mulner and Dev Mani against Julio Marques and John-Henry Herrington at No. 2, and Angelo De Asis and Jason Duval over Jackson Wagner and Hardt Lesko at No. 3.
- Roanoke claimed a point at No. 6 singles, where Lance Beheler defeated De Asis 6-2, 6-2.
- The WildCats won the other five singles matches in straight sets: Martin over Kriebel at No. 1 (6-0, 6-4), Mulner over Maccari at No. 2 (6-1, 6-1), Pelda against Marques at No. 3 (7-6, 6-2), Mani over Lesko at No. 4 (6-2, 6-4), and Duval against Herrington at No. 5 (6-2, 6-3).
