• The Short Story: The Roanoke wrestling team returned home to the Cregger Center on Thursday evening for an ODAC dual with Greensboro College. The Maroons made quick work of Greensboro with a 47-9 win and improve to 2-0 all-time against the Pride.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Maroons made quick work at the light weight classes with both Robson and Hall getting quick falls at 125 and 133 lbs. respectively. After a Pride conduct penalty and a major decision, the Maroons were leading 12-3. Two straight forfeits put the Maroons on top 24-3 heading into the heavy classes.
• Reid started things off for Roanoke with a fall just 2:03 into his match at 165 lbs. A pair of Greensboro forfeits and a tech fall for No. 17 Mahlic Sallah at 184 lbs. put the Maroons ahead 47-3. At 285 lbs. the Pride picked up a fall to get to the final score of 47-9 in favor of the Maroons.
