The Lead: Roanoke made the trip to Danville on Saturday night to face Averett in the dual match. The Cougars would take nine of the 10 weight classes on their way to a 36-3 win over the Maroons.  

Highlights:

• 145: Morgan Robinson was tied at 3-3 after one period. Thanks to three takedowns over the nest two periods, Robinson posted an 8-3 decision for Roanoke's lone win of the event.

Up next: Saturday marked the end of the regular season in the Maroon's inaugural wrestling season. They will take aim at the postseason when they travel to Lycoming for the 2022 NCAA Southeast Regionals on February 25 and 26.
