Track & Field Takes on VertKlasse Meeting

The Lead: Roanoke competed among various DI programs at the VertKlasse Meeting at High Point University.

Highlights:

Lily Lippert finished the 100M hurdles in 15.55 for 22nd place followed by Hannah Koepfiner in 28th with a time of 16.66.
In the 800M, Allison Barthol crossed the finish line in 2:35.10 for 39th.
With a time of 13:11.70, Alexis Mattson took ninth in the 3000M steeplechase.
Alison Moreau marked a 1.51M in the high jump.
Lindsey Baxter registered a 3.11M in the pole vault, tying for 10th.
In the discus, Jennifer Calascione tossed a 39.68M for 10th before taking eighth in the shot put with a mark of 12.20M.
In the 100M, Joey Reid clocked a 10.86, just .06 seconds off the school record.
Tyler Barrett took ninth in the 3000M steeplechase with a time of 10:30.53.
With a mark of 3.91M, Corbin Turner finished sixth in the pole vault.
Kaleb Bland hit a mark of 12.93M in the shot put before tossing a 40.46M in the hammer.
