McCulley Played on both the tennis and basketball teams at Roanoke and is viewed as the 'Mother of Soccer' in the Roanoke Valley.

Founded the Roanoke Valley Women's Soccer team in 1982, serving as a player and the coach.  She has been the head coach of the Patrick Henry High School girl's soccer team since 1990.  Since then has led the Patriots to five district championships in her first nine years as head coach.  In her first eight years as coach, led PHHS to a 90-15-11 record.
