Roanoke College

A real ironman of Roanoke College football, Neese played both offense and defense as a lineman in the early 1920's.

Captain of the 1921 team, and the "hardest playing man on the squad." In earlier years, he played pulling guard on the varsity.  A teammate said that Neese once laid claim to 13 unassisted tackles in one game.

Quite successful after graduating from Roanoke College, Neese spent nearly fifty years as a physician in the Philadelphia area.
