Roanoke College

An outstanding athlete at Roanoke, Ondrasik was nicknamed "The Big Scoop" for controlling the backboards on the basketball varsity team. 

Rated one of the top centers in the state of Virginia, he was selected to the 1947 second-team All-State team.  Captained the team his senior year even though Ondrasik played only half the season due to early graduation.  Ranked among the state’s leading scorers when he finished.
