Roanoke College

O'Keefe distinguished himself as a member of the Roanoke lacrosse team.  In 1979 and '80, he was named to the All-American team.

In 1978, he was given the Most Improved Player Award and was a member of the NCAA College Division Championship team.  In 1980, O'Keefe was given the Coach’s Award and selected to play for in the North-South All-Star Game. 

He has established and coached boys’ lacrosse teams in New York and New Jersey.
